Just a year ago, I commented that Allied Pixel had produced over one hundred videos in the previous 12 months. That’s the equivalent of creating about two short films a week. Pretty darn prodigious, right? I thought so.

Well, guess how many videos we’re on track to produce this year?

Ready?

One million.

I kid you not. A million videos! Personalized Video has been a game-changer for us and for many of our clients.

If you’re new to Personalized Video, you can learn about it here or watch my TED Talk here.

In a nutshell, Personalized Video enables us to produce data-driven videos with variable content that speaks to the specific interests of every individual in an organization’s contact list. It’s a way to engage far more effectively with customers, prospects and constituents.

One of the great things about Personalized Video is that the results are measurable. You can see in real time who is responding to your message. One college we work with found that prospective students who watched their Personalized Video were 19 times more likely to enroll than those who didn’t. Pretty incredible, right?

Besides higher education, we’re now creating Personalized Video campaigns for carmakers, auto dealerships, financial services firms, healthcare companies and nonprofits. With more coming soon.

There are a multitude of ways a Personalized Video campaign can be implemented. We can work from a database such as a CRM or sales automation system. Videos can also be generated on the fly from website inquiries, or through input from your internal staff. The videos can be deployed via email, text message, Facebook Messenger or through physical media such as flash drives, tablets or kiosks. It’s an incredibly flexible platform.

In the past year we’ve introduced a number of big advances, including on-camera spoken names, action buttons, real time metrics and on-demand generation. We have built a render farm that’s capable of generating thousands or hundreds of thousands of videos at a time. And we’re not stopping there. We continue to push the boundaries of what’s doable in this new world of Personalized Video.

I’m really proud of the amazing team here at Allied Pixel who have brought this thing from an idea on a napkin to reality. But I’m even more excited for our clients, because this is opening up extraordinary new possibilities.

Stay tuned, a lot more to come.
