Here’s something you may not have known about Allied Pixel. Every now and then, we step away from our regular production work to do a pet project. The most recent is Tagati, a short film that is currently playing at film festivals nationwide.

Tagati is a collaboration between novelist Andre Duza and myself, serving in the role of producer/director. It was shot by the Allied Pixel team, led by cinematographer Dan Mendenhall.

Here’s the trailer.

The great thing about projects like Tagati is that they allow us to spread our wings creatively and technically. As filmmakers, we are always looking for new and interesting ways to tell stories. And that experimentation comes back to benefit every client project we work on.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at us shooting the film.

After the festival run is over, Tagati will be available on Amazon and several other places. Follow the film on Facebook for updates.
