This is what past attendees had to say about the Workshop.
Learning the basics of video filming and production with Allied Pixel was an extremely valuable experience. From lighting, camera and audio basics, to the ins and outs of editing and finishing, everything you need to know to pull off your own basic shoot is covered. Additionally, because this was a small and intimate session, we were all able to ask unique questions about our own specific situations to get expert guidance from the pros at Allied Pixel, and they were quick to volunteer contact information for any future questions. I highly recommend this opportunity to anyone hoping to gain a fundamental knowledge of the world of video!

Allied Pixel’s video training set down a great foundation for us to move forward in our in-house video production. While we have a solid background in still photography, we’re video novices at this point, and we want to start creating short videos to connect with our constituents on social media. The day spent at Allied Pixel touched on a wide range of basics from how to light an interview set, to what types of equipment you need to get started, to how to do basic editing in Adobe Premiere. I left there feeling ready to jump in and get started.

Participating in the video training session at Allied Pixel was definitely a worthwhile experience. Seldom do you find a training seminar with such a wide breadth of useful information that can be translated immediately into project objectives. I learned new concepts that I never knew I was missing out on! Bill, Dan and Sam were incredibly knowledgeable about the filming, editing and production of original video projects. The passion and enthusiasm they share for their work was clearly evident.

Thank you so very much for the training. It was full of valuable information. I learned important information about all aspects of video production from start to finish. I think you have a very experienced group who are also great communicators. I can’t wait to start using some of the tools I learned from you and your staff. Thanks again.

Thank you again for the wonderful opportunity to learn more about video. This was a really valuable training and one of the only opportunities I’ve found to learn about video setup, filming, and editing. The opportunity to learn from and ask questions to people who are working in this field on a daily basis was great. Dan and Sam were both really knowledgeable and really enthusiastic to share their experience.
