Partners in Progress
Partnering with you to help support our community.
Congratulations to our 2010 Partners in Progress award recipient: Adoption Center of Delaware Valley.
The National Adoption Center expands adoption opportunities for children living in foster care throughout the United States, and is a resource to families and to agencies who seek the permanency of caring homes for children. Since its inception in 1972, the Center has facilitated permanent adoptions for more than 20,000 children.
Background
Unfortunately, the Partners in Progress award is no longer being offered. Below is a little bit of information about work done with past recipients.
The Partners in Progress Award was an annual program that providds a $25,000 production grant to a deserving nonprofit
organization in the greater Philadelphia area.
The grant was for the production of a digital media project of the winner’s choosing, including a website, video or
integrated application. Allied Pixel was the program sponsor and performed production services for the winning project. For
details about Allied Pixel’s production capabilities, please visit the Video & HD, Web & Interactive and Rental
sections.
Partners in Progress Award was a way for Allied Pixel to give back to the community and hopefully we succeeded in doing this. We hope we were able support their work in a meaningful way.
The Partners in Progress Award was created in 2008. Past recipients include:
- 2010 - Adoption Center of Delaware Valley
- 2009 - New Kensington Community Development Corporation
- 2008 - Bucks County Autism Support Coalition
The Allied Pixel team has been an amazing partner to work with. It’s been a very rewarding process to work with a team who so clearly and intuitively understands your vision and then is able to spin it into a marvel of technological brilliance."
– Shanta Schachter | Deputy Director, New Kensington Community Development Corporation
The mission of the Bucks County Autism Support Coalition is to maximize the personal development of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder through awareness and advocacy, education and training. Allied Pixel was instrumental in helping bring this mission to life. The Allied Pixel Team donated their time and extensive expertise to assist the Coalition’s Education Committee in creating several Autism Videos. The videos will serve as a resource in our community presentations as well as being available for free downloads from our website. Allied Pixel took our dream and helped us turn it into a reality. The Coalition and all that we hope to serve are eternally thankful to Allied Pixel!"
– Jill Schweizer | President, Bucks County Autism Support Coalition
